Sustainability & compliance
Compliance built in, not tested after.
Environmental and safety compliance is specified before sampling, documented with the goods, and available on request for projects that require certification.

Where compliance is applied
01
Material sourcing
FSC-certified ash available on request, and natural rattan from managed Indonesian supplies. We document the chain of custody for projects that require it.
02
Low-VOC finishes
All lacquers, oils and adhesives are low-VOC and REACH compliant, so the furniture is safe to install in occupied spaces without off-gassing concerns.
03
Fire compliance
Contract builds are tested to your market's fire standard and rated to EN 16139 stability. Fire test reports ship with the goods, not after.
04
Durable by design
Repairable solid-wood construction and replaceable weave extend product life, which is the most effective form of environmental compliance there is.
05
Responsible packing
Carton with EPE corner protection or plywood crate, sized to the container so we ship less air. Loading plans minimise empty volume.
06
Workplace standards
A safe, well-lit workshop with dust extraction at every cutting station and fair, documented employment practices.

Need a specific certificate?
Tell us the standard your project requires and we will confirm whether we hold it or can obtain it for your order. We would rather tell you early than discover a gap at customs.
Ask about complianceOur position
The most sustainable furniture is furniture that lasts and can be repaired. We design for the second container and the repairable frame, not the disposable one.
